Dual Organizations: Working at the Intersection of Sexual, Domestic and Intimate Partner Sexual Violence

Sexual violence is significantly underreported in underserved communities, where service providers often lack the cultural competence and language skills necessary to effectively support survivors. Conversations about sexual violence frequently center on intimate partner sexual violence (IPSV), which refers to any non-consensual sexual act or coercion within an intimate relationship. Dual programs continue to encounter challenges in developing services that address the distinct needs of sexual violence survivors.
