Job Description

The National Organization of API Ending Sexual Violence (NAPIESV), a program under Monsoon Asians & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity, is searching for a full-time Program Associate.

About NAPIESV:  The mission of NAPIESV is to end sexual violence in API communities and build healthy communities through transformative justice and social change. It addresses the intersections of sexual violence with gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, ability and age, and explores their connections to community accountability. The organization also examines the role of communities in perpetuating the violence and explores notions of individual and community healing.  

Job Title:  Program Associate

Function:  The Program Associate will work closely with the Program Director in carrying out high-level program development in providing Training and Technical Assistance to organizations providing services to API sexual violence survivors.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC:

Salary:  The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, annual wellness stipend, retirement match, generous paid vacation, and sick, mental health and holiday leave. Monsoon is a qualifying employer under the Department of Education’s public services loan-forgiveness program.

The National Organization of Asian Pacific Islander Ending Sexual Violence (NAPIESV) is a newly created organization, fiscally sponsored by Monsoon United Asian Women of Iowa.

NAPIESV provides technical assistance and support to local/community-based programs and governmental organizations in enhancing their services to victims of sexual violence from the Asian and Pacific Islander communities nationally and in the U.S. territories.
